One of the most engaging chamber choirs in the south west, The Orlando Singers present a varied programme on the theme of the quest for peace, rest and justice.
The programme includes an movement from Stanford’s little-known Missa Via Victrix 1914-1918, Tippett’s Spirituals from A Child of our Time, To daffodils by Ernest Farrar (killed in action, 1918), and choral arrangements of two famous works – Lux Aeterna (Elgar’s Nimrod) and Agnus Dei (Barber’s Adagio for Strings).
Book tickets (£12 / £8) here.
